Independence Day
Every year, on the 15th of August, KPVS members come together to celebrate the auspicious day of Independence Day. It is a day of immense pride and patriotism for our nation, and we take this opportunity to remember and honour our brave fighters who sacrificed their lives for our country’s freedom. To commemorate this day, we organize several cultural events and plays, showcasing the diverse cultural heritage of India. On this day, we organize blood donation camps and also encourage the youth to take part in social responsibilities and learn to carry on. Through these camps, we aim to instil a sense of responsibility and empathy among the younger generation.
Tree Plantation Program
We at Karajgaon Parisar Vikas Sanghatana are aware of the devastating consequences of climate change, including serious health issues and natural disasters. Deforestation is one of the main factors contributing to this problem. As responsible citizens, we have taken action to reduce deforestation by planting numerous trees. Every year on March 21st, which is celebrated as Global Tree Plantation Day, we distribute saplings to our members and underprivileged communities, raising awareness about the importance of afforestation. We are encouraged by the positive response we have received, but we know there is still a long way to go before we can achieve our goal of a greener future.
Teacher’s Day
Karajgaon Parisar Vikas Sanghatana recognizes the importance of teachers in shaping the future of our society and every year on the 5th of September, we celebrate Teacher’s Day with great enthusiasm. We pay tribute to Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, the second President of India, and a great scholar whose birth anniversary is celebrated as Teacher’s Day.
On this occasion, we organize various cultural events to honour our teachers, and our students participate with great enthusiasm. It is a day filled with joy and excitement as we witness the talents of our students and the hard work of our teachers. We also provide refreshments and sweets to the children, which adds to the festive atmosphere.
Our Teacher’s Day celebration is not only about honouring teachers but also about encouraging children to value education and respect their teachers. We hope that this day serves as a reminder of the invaluable contributions of teachers to our society and motivates our students to become responsible and successful citizens in the future.
